b"Strategic Planning in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic high school is an organizational management activity that is used to set priorities, focus our energy and resources, ensure all stakeholders are working toward common goals, establish agreement around intended outcomes, and ultimately strengthen school operations to ensure mission effectiveness.Independent Catholic schools have a very specific and unique approach in the creation and use of strategic planning. It is a review of the internal operational factors that we can control and the overall process allows us to make sure the objectives are aligned with our stakeholders expectations and our mission. With the expansion of our athletic facilities, our need for more defined and expansive school operational offices and the addition of a full time school Chaplain we expanded the 2023-2026 Strategic Planning Committee and added categories. Our planning period and collaborative discussions were opportunities to analyze objectives and action plans, making sure they are sustainable and achievable.This 2023-2026 plan will serve as part of our school's foundational documents from which we will work collaboratively to meet or exceed the objectives in place. Our plan also offers additional support to the objectives outlined in our 2018 Middle States Accreditation: Excellence by Design. The strategic plan also demonstrates to all stakeholders that planning for growth and improvement are as much a part of our daily work as teaching and learning . We recognize the importance of an OLLHS independent strategic planning process in addition to the planning and teamwork required for our Middles States Accreditation. While the Middle States internal planning team relies on faculty, administration, students and parents, this plan focuses on the operational departments and leadership within those departments. This process was effective in: 1.Bringing our school departments into discussions in ways they can work together with a clear and thoughtful understanding of the role each plays in meeting set objectives that work to enhance a standard of academic excellence and continued school growth. 2. Ensuring continuous growth and improvement as part of the culture of the school 3. Enabling stakeholders to agree on the same priorities and focus on the same path to improvement 4. Instilling in all of us a sense of responsibility in upholding the OLLHS missionAs a mission-driven Catholic secondary school, we are very proud of the collaborative discussions and feedback provided throughout the review/evaluation of the 2020-2023 plan and the updates and revisions found within this OLLHS Strategic Plan 2023-2026.
