On July 21, 2021, the Turletes family lost our brother Chris from the Our Lady of Lourdes High School Class of 1972 following a 16-month battle with pancreatic cancer.  Chris fought this fight like he lived his life – with quiet determination and dignity and we are saddened beyond words that he is gone. 

Some of Chris’ friends have contacted us and are interested in establishing a lasting, appropriate memorial to him. Following that discussion, we have decided to plant a tree in his honor on the campus of his beloved high school, Our Lady of Lourdes.  Chris was blessed with many friends from his days at Lourdes and found these friends to be a great comfort to him as his life neared its end.

If your combined generosity exceeds the costs involved, we will ask that the remainder be donated to Lourdes for the support and maintenance of the Athletic Programs, fields, or fitness center which were near and dear to Chris and were the source of so very many close relationships that shaped the wonderful man he became.
