Bio

Fr. Michael Connolly grew up in St. Augustine Parish in Ossining where he attended their parochial school. He then went on to Kennedy Catholic High School in Somers where he enjoyed both football and musical theatre! Father graduated in 2010 and attended Fordham University. He spent his first year and a half at Fordham College at Lincoln Center studying music. When God made it clear that he was calling Father to the priesthood, he entered the Cathedral Seminary House of Formation in Douglaston, Queens and finished his studies at Fordham College at Rose Hill. After graduation, Fr Connolly entered St. Joseph’s Seminary, Dunwoodie, in Yonkers where he earned a Master of Arts in Theology.

Father was ordained a priest by Timothy Cardinal Dolan on May 26th, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. From June 2018 to June 2021, Fr. Connolly served as Parochial Vicar at St. Columba Church, Hopewell Junction. Father is now the Parochial Vicar at St. Martin De Porres Parish and Chaplain at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School where he feels so blessed to have the opportunity to communicate God’s love, mercy, and real presence in the Eucharist with His beloved students!
