Homework:  Write a well-developed paragraph in which you make a claim about one of the metaphors used in “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.”  You must argue that the metaphor is an effective or ineffective image for Jonathan Edwards’ purpose.  In so doing, clearly establish Jonathan Edwards’ purpose and use details concerning why the metaphor you chose would or would not be helpful in developing his aim.  Follow the paragraph template as you write.  You must send your paragraph to turnitin.com in order for it to be graded.
