Athletics at Our Lady of Lourdes High School embraces the concept of the student-athlete and recognizes participation in organized, team sports as an integral part of the educational experience. The philosophy of our school carries over into athletics in that we emphasizes excellence, community, mutual concern and respect for others and enabling students to become fully aware of a Christ centered life.
The student-athlete at Our Lady of Lourdes High School is responsible for his or her studies, as well as their commitment as a member of his or her team, serving as a positive role model in school and in the Hudson Valley community.
A student-athlete can compete on one of our 37 freshman, junior varsity, or varsity sports teams. We are part of Section I Class A, except for the Varsity Girls’ basketball team which is Class AA.
The first official game took place on our new field - April 2, 2013! Boys Lacrosse vs. Washingtonville.
